They spent the night in the Guadalupe Mountains park then headed back home.

The traveled deep into Slaughter Canyon!

Barrow and dad left early the next morning to head to Carlsbad, NM. Scouts had a private tour of Slaughter Canyon in Carlsbad.

The dance floor was a little small, so they squeezed in!

1st Cotillion dance.  David joined Barrow and they had a great time.

Barrow met Temple Grandin, who came to NMSU to speak to the Ag Department.

The next day we were caught up in the Delta computer mess...but we finally made it home!

Time with cousins before heading back to Las Cruces!

We enjoyed some time at the beach before heading back to Nana and Pop's home.

There were great views from the top of the fort.

Barrow loved learning the history of St. Augustine and the old fort - Castillo de San Marcos.

The next day, Claudia joined us on a trip to St. Augustine.

At the end of the day, we enjoyed the Fantasmic show, and a fabulous fireworks show!

Staying until the park closed...we headed back to Nana and Pop's home.

It rained for a bit, but we had pretty good cover.

We saw a great Indian Jones show, explaining many of the stunts they perform while making the movie.

We met several of the Star Wars characters including ...

We had a full day at the park!

Dad arrived, and we headed to Disney World and Hollywood Studios!

Pops took us to the beach, where we enjoyed riding the waves on the boggy board!

Barrow enjoyed finding a funny bumper sticker...maybe on the car of a local college student?

The next day, we toured the University of Florida...home of the Gators!

They were beautiful animals and we were able to get very close to them!

We arrived in Jacksonville to visit Nana and Pops.  1st stop...the Catty Shack, a sanctuary for large cats.

Nathaniel was elected Senior Patrol Leader, and Barrow was named his assistant!

He received the scholarship merit badge and gave a speech to the group for his communications badge.

Barrow ran troop 10's court of honor.
